blah

Blah generally sums up the sate of my life right now. Blah. Except for the fact that there is a cat sleeping on my back, life in general sucks. I have too much work to do and no will to do any of it, and I would rather sit around and watch TV. You know take a brake from life. It would be nice you know. Oh a plus I rediscovered livejournal. Maybe I should come back here more often an let my frustrations out.

my return

So hey look at this I am back cause I remembered what my password is. I think that I should change it though to something like 'life sucks' cause yes my friends it does. Suck that is. I can not wait to get out of residence. Like really really can't wait. Soon soon, it will happen. Soon I will be free. *goes to look for the mental home before the white coats come after me*

the crapiness of life

I don't understand it. I don't know if I am meant to understand it. But why in the world can't people treat me like a normal university student. I don't know why I am so pissed off about this whole thing. It is just that I am not that un-normal. I like to go out and do stuff as much as the other person. I have no right to be passed off as someone who doesn't. I am tired of feeling like I don't belong in a place that I should.

So here I sit contumplating the crap that I have to deal with and the shit that I put up with, letting the pissiness go away, cause no one would be here to see whether I am pissed off or not anyway.

recovery: a new definition

I would like to take this opportunity to redefine the word recovery. I personally feel right now that recovery is what you go through after writing the exam of death. Yes that is correct I said the exam of death. Now yes most exams are not causes for rejoicing but there are those rare cases where exams truly are death. I know because I feel pleasntly reborn at this moment. Yes it has taken me seven hours. Seven long hours, lots of candy and watching of Firefly to get me to this state but I now feel ready to face the music as they say and go and study for my next exam. The wonderful adventure in the calculus land. Yeah! Bring on the stardust and the happy dancing bunnies.

And I would also like to mention that I got very little sleep last night, and have spent most of the day rubbing a pretty pink rock of good luckness. Yes I am insane, just go with it and move on.

I have joined a monster.

Yes I will admit that I never thought that I would join facebook. But guess what? I have. Yes the world is coming to an end. Also I write my first exam tomorrow, it is hard to believe that I went eight days between the last day of classes and the time that I write my first exam. I don't think that it will go all that badly because I have studied really hard for this one. It is the ones after it that I am worried about.

Please tune in tomorrow for the rant on how I think that I failed my exam.

hills how i loath thee

Yeah so let me just say a few things to clear the air here? What is it with schools being built on top of hills, and not just schools but all learning centers seem to be built on the top of a hill. Is this some way to increase physical activity? Cause if it is then it is definitly not working. Or maybe schools are built as a form of fortification so that not only do you keep the unmentionables out you also have some control of keeping the attendees in.

For whatever reason it may be they are both stupid and I hate to tell you world but kids and young people are lazy, and if you want us to get an education you should make things jsut a little bit easier for us.

Another thing what is it with all this rain. It is almost the end of Novemeber why is it like twenty degrees out side. This is just not right. I mean right now I would rather have snow, I know that if I had to shovel it then I wouldn't want snow but since I don't I really want snow. I just am tired of it raining all the time.

Here endeth the rant, please tune in next time, for more rant enjoyness.

move over noah i'm building the ark

So today it is raining, which is nothing new considering that it rains all the time now but does it normally rain on the inside? I think not. But yet here I am all working away when water hits my head. Inside of the cafeteria, yes I did indeed say inside.

That was just the icing on the cake of misery that this week has been. And guess what. It is only going to get worse, plus I feel really guilty that I am even writing this cause I probably should be studying or something else that is equally productive. But no here I am, enjoy the angry me while it last people cause I'm hoping that she will be gone by Saturday. Saturday is also the day that the rain is finally supposed to stop.

Plus there is the whole midterm thing. Hello proffessors but I hate to tell you that term is almost over, so there shouldn't be any more midterms. Or projects for that matter, just leave us alone for a while and maybe or minds will have time to revive themselves before finals. But no again that would be too easy.

Now I must go, the wood I ordered has just arrived and I am going to go and start building my ark.

I am going to my first concert in like half an hour. I am very excited considering the last person I say in concert was Mr. Dressup when I was like five. The only problem is what in the world to do with my hair. The problem of life...

rain + walking to class = hell on a very wet earth

I would have to say that I would rather eat live worms then walk to class in the rain. Well that might be going a bit far but the point is that I really, really hate walking to class in the rain.

I think the part about the whole thing that really bothers me is that even when you are wearing the rain coat you still get you pants soaked cause the rain drips off it. And not only that every time that it rains it always too windy to take the stupid unbrealla.

This has been my rant on rain and walking to class I hope you have enjoyed and may now return to your reguallry schedualled programing.

busy is there any other way to be

Why hello world, how is life? My life why that would be busy, busy and even more busy. When there isn't school there is something else. And when the isn't something else why there would be something else else.

The cure for all that would be watching "Veronica Mars" The one stop cure all for bad days spent in the raining darkness. Speaking of the being busy I must be going back to the world of electrical circuits. Such wonderful thing electrical circuits, all that crap strung together that makes the world go round.

And so school continues to suck

Is it just me or has anyone else ever noticed that there is just way to much going on at school to keep with. What ever happened to the good ol' days of high school when you could borrow the parents car, hang out with your friends and not have to worry about how much money you actually have at your disposal.

University is a whole different thing. There is an endless round of classes and labs and assignments. Assignments that all seem to be hard and pointless in my personal opinion. There when there isn't that there is that fact that you have to work and somehow manage extracricular activities so that your resume still says "hire me" after you finally get out of this place.

In summary, why the hell am I paying to have this much stress?

back to school :) or :( depending on your point of view

Hey all, and by all at the moment I just mean me, but anyway. Back at the books again! Which means back to the internet and friends, but also, back to assignments and midterms and stress. So upon careful diliberation I have decided and going back to university is a :)! But speaking of stress I have to go and get ready for my first day at my new job, which is sure to be interesting.

Signed,
Maramai formally known as alanna_mara but I don't remember my password to get back into my account.
